Nonlinear distortion

Note that for the five tone, I  meant to say, "The RS125 is shown in red at 70dB, not 70 Hz. So the RS125 is driven at 4 dB less. Nonetheless, it has a bit more distortion anyway.

 

Conclusion

I suppose you could say that this is pretty much expected. The RS125 does quite a bit worse in nonlinear distortion. If you are making a small 2 way, use the RS150 if you can. On the flip side, the linear distortion is better for the RS125. And, somewhere between 150 Hz and 400 Hz the nonlinear distortion numbers become very close, statistically indistinguishable. As a midrange, the RS125 might actually be better, if you can cross a bit higher.
